FLASHING BASICS

Hello mates
Today I am gonna teach flashing basics
A guide from noob to pro

Be sure to have a data backup (incase you mess up something)

So for starters we will flash boot Animation (includes rooting your Device also unlocking bootloader)

(Boot Animation:-> whenever you turn or turn off your Android phone their is some animation going on that's boot Animation
Reason to change boot Animation is just for fun it makes your phone look cool)

So let's start with our process

Firstly your device must be processing on a snapdragon processor since mediatek processors doesn't allow much development

For the next thing that you will need is your device model number then just google " how to unlock boot loader of X device ( X device = model number of your device)

You can find the model number in the about phone section in your phone settings

After unlocking bootloader the next step will be flashing a custom recovery on your device 


Depending upon your device install recovery.
Examples are ;- TWRP (Teams in Recovery Project)
                              CWM (ClockWorkMod)
                              RedWold....



Now the fun part i.e rooting your device ( *_READ DISCLAIMER_* )
Download magisk zip file or simply install SuperSu from playstore

Magisk:->  depending upon your device boot your device into Recovery mode
Select Install zip in TWRP
Navigate to install zip in CWM via volume buttons
For RedWolf do the same as TWRP

Browse to the magisk folder and install the zip

After installing clear the dalvic chache and reboot your phone to system

Check if your device is rooted or not via RootChecker application available on Playstore
.

SuperSu:-> install the application from playstore and do as directed in SuperSu
Most of the stuff will be automatic
*This is simpler method to root but you wont be able to use magisk modules if you used this method

If your device is rooted go ahead
If not check the method again


Now the last part (easiest one )
 Download the *BOOT ANIMATION FOR SUPERUSER* application from playstore and install animation you want it will reboot your device once or twice
And you will get your work done

Also you can download boot Animations.zip from XDA forums/threads and install them the same way we did magisk.zip

That's it you can now have any boot Animation you want
